BIOTTS S.A. is a Polish biotechnology company developing proprietary carriers and drug recipes in the field of oncology and diabetology. Based on unique production technologies, and a new approach to the processes of combining substances and knowledge – the Biotts team of scientists has developed a breakthrough technology of the MTC-Y (Multifunctional Transdermal Carrier-Y) transdermal therapeutic system. The properties of the carrier increase the bioavailability of active substances several times, allowing them to penetrate the skin into soft tissues and bones. The carrier can be easily modified to achieve targeted action in diseased tissues. Thanks to the system, it is possible to reduce the therapeutic dose of the drug, while maintaining its original action and at the same time weakening the side effects. The system also enables the transport of one to a dozen or so active substances, thanks to which it is possible to design multi-component drugs.
